This academic project involved creating a thematic magazine with strong graphic content and a well-defined layout. The theme centered around skateboarding and surfing, which embody freedom, challenge, and the counterculture of the hippie/punk movement. I sought to capture these values through graphic elements that highlighted the lifestyle beyond the sport. Influenced by the film Lords of Dogtown, I used lines and bars as symbols of movement to reflect the dynamic and rebellious nature of the culture.
