European Parliament
Between November 2020 and April 2021, I worked as a Graphic Designer and Social Media Assistant (Schuman Trainee) at the European Parliament’s DG COMM - Web Communication Unit in Brussels, Belgium. My role involved managing and curating social media content, including creating templates and producing posts for European Parliament Liaison Offices (EPLOs) in 27 Member States, adapted into 26 languages. I played a key role in community management on Facebook and Instagram, analysing comments and audience feedback to optimise engagement and ensure the clarity of the Parliament’s messages. Amid the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, I developed creative solutions to coordinate and collaborate with diverse teams, often remotely, to produce high-quality content that maintained the impact and integrity of the institution’s communications. As part of the Instagram team, I produced Stories and Reels, while also participating in video projects with other sub-teams and units, further enriching the Parliament’s digital outreach efforts.
