This Instagram campaign aimed to shed light on the dual realities of migration during a world shaken by the Covid-19 pandemic, ongoing wars, and conflicts. While the health crisis dominated headlines, the migrant crisis worsened, leaving many in precarious and life-threatening conditions. The campaign sought to present two perspectives on migration: economic migration and the search for political asylum, grounded in real-world stories and human experiences. The first phase featured Instagram Stories juxtaposing the “stay home” message with the reality that many migrants and refugees have no home to stay in, fleeing violence and instability. To foster empathy and understanding, the second phase included IGTV interviews, mini-documentaries, and online debates hosted on Instagram Direct and Discord. These interactive elements showcased the voices of those directly impacted by migration, offering viewers a chance to engage with the facts and personal testimonies. In a parallel effort, Reels and posts highlighted the stark contrasts of modern life. For example, while one group enjoys a peaceful day at the beach, another struggles for survival in perilous crossings. This approach aimed to create a human connection without promoting illegal migration, focusing instead on the broader humanitarian challenges and the shared responsibility to address them. The campaign’s central goal was to encourage informed, compassionate conversations about migration, fostering awareness and dialogue in a balanced and humanistic manner
